Make a media guide for your election
Fill in what reporters need to know: who to call, the dates, where people vote, your state's rules for the press, and where to find results. Your guide builds itself as you type, with a cover page and a one-page "Election at a glance" sheet for your press kit. Download it as a PDF, or as a Word file you can open in Google Docs.
Your guide stays on this computer. Everything you type is kept in this web browser only, so it's still here next time. No account is needed. Download a backup to move it to another computer or keep a copy safe.
Your guides
"Copy for the next election" keeps your contacts, places, rules and turnout, and empties the dates, so next time you only change what's new.

A PNG or JPEG. It's made smaller to fit the cover. A logo with a see-through background looks best on the colored cover.
Tips
- Words in [square brackets] are for you to fill in. The download button tells you if any are left.
- In any box, a line that starts with "-" becomes a bullet, and a blank line starts a new paragraph.
- Switch off a section you don't need, and leave a row empty to leave it out.
- Post the guide on your website too: reporters can find it any time, and you can update it.
- Tell your poll workers which polling places reporters are likely to visit, and how to talk with them.
